This page provides a summary of our policies and operations as they pertain to product guarantees and refunds, and the privacy of your personal data. 

Guarantees & Refunds: Individual product guarantees, where applicable, are described for each product. Money-back satisfaction guarantees are offered for most products but you must contact us by email or phone and arrange for refund by check. Please do NOT charge back your credit card, as this costs us all (and may get you blacklisted by more than one online vendor!). Communicate directly with us and you will find that your satisfaction is a TOP priority! Simply phone or email us anytime if you have a question or problem (see link at top for Contact Us page). 

Privacy:  In short, the information you share on this site, and all of our sites, is confidential and will not be shared. 

Our entire marketing plan is based on strict opt-in strategies and tactics. That means we do not use unsolicited commercial email. Also, we provide multiple methods for people to "opt out" and get off all email lists that are used to keep in touch with prospects and customers.  We place a high value on individual responsibility, dignity, and freedom. We seek to uphold the right of all individuals of controlling their own affairs. Therefore we do not sell, rent, or share our lists of customers or prospects (or any associated data) with any outside individual, group, or company. 

The method we use to bring third party offers to our clients and prospects is by indirect means, of sending endorsements or ads to our lists - but not providing the actual lists (or list data) directly to partners.  

The only possible exceptions to this policy on confidentiality are as follows: 

1. Your data may be passed to a third party order processor when you order with credit card online. Trusted third party companies, chosen with utmost care, are used for handling payment processing. This allows us to give customers multiple options for payment. We pledge to all customers that we will extend diligent efforts in handling any complaint with your order, including any matters involving payment processors. We do monitor all transaction records of the payment processors, both to protect ourselves against consumer fraud, and to protect our customers. And we aggressively work with the processor and federal and state law enforcement agencies when necessary toward the prosecution of those who engage in fraudulent actions relating to payment processing. We see these efforts as helping both merchants and customers in the long term.   

2. We may release customer data if compelled by legal mechanism (subpoena, court order, etc.), such as by the police. Note that we've never been required to share data by these means, in cases other than to prosecute fraud. And even if we were compelled by legal mechanism, we would fight such a claim on the confidentiality of our valued clients (for those not involved with fraud prosecution). In fact we've secured considerable legal resources for this purpose, in case this unlikely situation ever occurs. 

In seeking to partner with organizations that share our philosophy, and promote strict opt-in marketing and confidentiality, we seek to comply with the recommendations of the Online Privacy Alliance.

 We collect different kinds of information on various web forms. This data is sent by email, and encryption (secure server) is used for any form that relays your personal financial data (credit card data or any bank account data). Contact data that is stored on servers connected to the Web is secured by password protection or other means. Backups are stored on computer systems that are not connected online. 

Your communications regarding any inaccuracies of our data is gladly received, and we will work to correct any inaccuracies. You may reach us by any of several methods, using the contact information on our home page at FortressDataProtection.com, or other pages on our various sites. In particular, we may be contacted by voice (telephony), Fax (by advance arrangement), or email. We may also schedule personal meetings, or online meetings using voice technology.
